(Digital Itla) Following a newborn baby suffering a fractured arm, the family has accused the doctors of severe negligence, prompting the hospital administration to form a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the matter. The incident occurred during delivery at Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur.
The affected woman alleged that during labor, untrained staff and doctors exerted unnecessary physical force, causing injury to the newborn's arm. Following the incident, the hospital administration constituted a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the matter. According to MS Victoria Hospital Dr. Abdul Rehman, the committee includes Dr. Shakeela Yasmeen, Dr. Farrukh Zaidi, and Dr. Aneela Ali, who will review all aspects of the incident and submit a report. The newborn girl was immediately shifted to the Pediatric ICU, where her treatment has begun. Hospital sources indicated that the woman initially attempted a home delivery, but was rushed to Victoria Hospital after complications arose.
