Successful Sindh Police Operation in Shikarpur Katcha Area, Kidnapped Girl Safely Recovered

(Digital Itlaah) On the directives of IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho, Sindh Police carried out a successful operation in the katcha area of Shikarpur and safely recovered 11-year-old Hooram Saeed Pathan, who had been kidnapped from Peshawar. During the operation, a key kidnapper dacoit was killed while several others were injured.

According to police officials, the operation began two days ago in the Kot Shaho area of Shikarpur’s katcha region, where police targeted various hideouts based on intelligence reports.

During the action, the main kidnapper Abdul Waheed alias Mulla was killed, while reports suggest several other dacoits were also injured.

Authorities stated that during the same operation, Jennifer Amir Masih, a resident of Lahore, was also recovered. She had allegedly been abducted after being lured with a job offer.

IG Sindh praised DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab, SSP Shikarpur Muhammad Kaleem Malik, and the participating police team for the successful operation, announcing cash rewards and commendation certificates for the officers and personnel.

Police officials said that after reports of the kidnapping surfaced on social media, the IG Sindh took immediate notice and ordered the safe recovery of the child, prompting swift and effective action by Shikarpur Police.

IG Sindh stated that the police personnel displayed courage, professionalism, and bravery by risking their lives to rescue the innocent girls, calling it a commendable achievement.

 

He also reaffirmed Sindh Police’s commitment to continuing strict operations against criminal elements and kidnapping gangs to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
