(Digital Itla)  Two prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment for murder fell deeply in love and had a love marriage inside prison.

"Love can happen anywhere, anytime, with anyone"—a saying proven true once again in a prison in Rajasthan, India, where two inmates had a love marriage.

According to Indian media, a male and a female inmate serving life sentences for murder in a Jodhpur prison fell in love, pledged to spend their lives together, and tied the knot inside the prison premises.

Reports indicate that the couple had to seek permission from the Rajasthan High Court first. Following court approval, the wedding took place inside the prison in the presence of jail authorities, police personnel, and families of the bride and groom.

A mandap was set up in the open yard of the prison where wedding rituals for Moola Ram and Seema were completed.

Moola Ram is serving a life sentence after being convicted of murdering his neighbor over a land dispute, while Seema, a resident of Jodhpur, was imprisoned in connection with her husband's murder.
