Police arrest dangerous dacoit involved in shooting and injuring citizens during robbery

Faisalabad 14 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA): Police have arrested a dangerous robber who opened fire and severely injured two citizens during a robbery attempt.

According to details, the suspect, identified as Fahad, along with his accomplices, had shot and injured citizens Amjad and Saqlain while committing a dacoity. Taking dynamic action, SHO Police Station Khurrianwala Atif Shahzad arrested the accused Fahad and recovered illicit arms from his possession.

Police authorities stated that further interrogation is underway to trace his fleeing accomplices and uncover involvement in previous criminal activities.

Reaffirming severe legal action, CPO Faisalabad asserted that the suspect will be prosecuted with solid forensic and circumstantial evidence in court to ensure exemplary punishment, reiterating that violence against citizens will be met with full force of the law.
