(Digital Itla) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspended an order requiring the publication of details regarding national cricket players' salaries, match fees, central contracts, allowances, PCB budgets, and other financial perks across all formats.

Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar issued a stay order on a petition filed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), suspending the Information Commission’s July 9 decision until the next hearing. The court issued notices to the Pakistan Information Commission and citizen Kashif Shehzad Awan, seeking their responses.

Representing the PCB, Advocate Kashif Malik argued that the requested details extended beyond institutional expenses, encompassing private financial information and confidential contracts of individual players.
