FAISALABAD, Sept 29 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Police in Faisalabad launched an aggressive crackdown against illegal kite trading following an incident in the Gulberg police precinct, where a young child was severely injured by a sharp metal kite string, officials said on Tuesday.
In response to the incident, a team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Niaz Rasool of the Millat Town police station conducted a targeted operation, arresting two suspects, identified as Shahid and Zahid, for their involvement in selling prohibited kite-flying materials.
Authorities recovered hundreds of illegal kites from the suspects' possession during the raid. A case has been registered against both individuals under relevant laws, and further legal proceedings are underway.
