Road safety and traffic awareness: Punjab Traffic Police and Motorway Police join hands to install informational signboards at key interchanges

Faisalabad 10 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): To raise awareness regarding road safety and ensure strict compliance with traffic regulations, DSP Traffic Jaranwala Kashif Muneer Gull held a high-level coordination meeting with his counterpart from the National Highways & Motorway Police. The meeting focused on installing traffic awareness signboards on the outer perimeters of the Sahianwala and Kamalpur motorway interchanges.

The initiative aims to provide essential guidance to drivers and commuters regarding road safety protocols, speed limits, and traffic laws prior to entering high-speed arteries. Officials highlighted that strategic placement of informative signboards will play a critical role in educating motorists, mitigating road accidents, and encouraging safe driving habits.

Traffic police officials emphasized that securing traffic movement near motorway exit and entry points remains a top priority, and such collaborative public awareness measures will foster greater road safety consciousness among citizens.
