FAISALABAD, Oct 2 Digital Itla — Police reunited a distressed mother with her three children on Friday following a prompt intervention by women police officials, authorities said.

Madiha Irshad, SHO of the Women Police Station, spearheaded the swift operation after receiving an appeal from a mother, Farah Mahmood, whose in-laws had allegedly driven her out of the home and forcibly separated her from her children amid a domestic dispute. Law enforcement successfully recovered the three children — 12-year-old Asif Ali, 10-year-old Zahra Batool, and 4-year-old Aiza Fatima — and safely handed them back to their mother, prompting expressions of gratitude from the family toward the police department.

The City Police Officer (CPO) of Faisalabad emphasized that safeguarding the rights of women and children remains a top priority in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, according to a statement released by the Faisalabad Police spokesperson.
