"I Regularly Pray Five Times a Day," Claims Rakhi Sawant

(Digital Itla) Indian actress and reality TV star Rakhi Sawant responded firmly to critics questioning her religious beliefs. In a recent interview with a British news outlet, Sawant shared details of her spiritual life, stating that she offers prayers five times daily, reads the Quran, and has performed Umrah eight times.

Sawant converted to Islam in May 2022 upon marrying her ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani, later announcing her name change to Fatima in January 2023. She noted that despite her marriage ending after six months, her faith remains strong, adding that she regularly performs Tahajjud (night prayers) alongside standard daily prayers.
