Elderly Father of Inter-Faith Peace Committee Leader Severely Injured in Dagger Attack for Opposing Drug Peddling

JARANWALA: 5 Oct (Digital Itla) — An elderly man, who is the father of the General Secretary of the Inter-Faith Peace Committee, was severely injured after being attacked with daggers by a suspect in the Islampura area of Jaranwala for opposing alleged drug peddling.

According to sources, the injured elderly victim was immediately rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Jaranwala. However, due to his critical condition, doctors later referred him to a hospital in Faisalabad for specialized medical care. Police have taken notice of the incident and initiated legal proceedings to apprehend the culprit.
