FAISALABAD, 26 Sep Digital Itla — Authorities sealed 10 illegal liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) refilling shops and seized equipment during a enforcement drive in Faisalabad, civil defense officials said.
The operation was conducted under the directives of the Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner and led by Civil Defense Officer Muhammad Iqbal Javed Akhtar Khichi.
During the raids, officials confiscated machinery used for unlawful refilling operations, including four refilling machines, nine electric weighing scales, nine refilling leads, and two vacuum pumps. The seized equipment was transferred to the Civil Defense Office.
Authorities have also initiated legal proceedings against one shop owner accused of illegally reopening a sealed facility. An application for a First Information Report (FIR) has been submitted to the Mansoorabad police station.
Civil defense officials said further legal action against illegal LPG operations in the region remains ongoing.
