(Digital Itla) The Iranian military has explicitly declared that the Strait of Hormuz will absolutely not be opened through war or threats.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akram, a senior official of the Iranian military, made it clear that the United States must respect international laws and the dignity of nations.

In a statement issued by the Iranian military, it was asserted that Iran will under no circumstances tolerate any foreign interference or treaty violations in the Strait of Hormuz.

He recalled that under an agreement, Iran had temporarily allowed toll-free transit for 60 days, but the US deceptively attempted to establish an illegal route there, which is unacceptable.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akram further added that the only way to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is for the US to respect Iran's rights. He expressed the resolve that the Iranian armed forces will fully and effectively defend their national rights until their last breath.
