Balochistan Bleeds Again: 5 Punjabis Shot Dead in Mashkel

(Digital Itla) Terrorists shot dead five individuals belonging to Punjab in the Mashkel area of Washuk.

Police authorities confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased belonged to different areas of Punjab and that the terrorists opened fire on laborers working at shops. Police officials further added that the bodies of the victims are being sent to their native towns. The attackers fled the scene after the firing, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.

Balochistan Government Spokesperson Shahid Rind, in his statement, condemned the killing of the 5 individuals in Mashkel and stated that the government has taken notice and ordered a transparent inquiry. Shahid Rind said that the elements involved in the murder of innocent citizens will not escape the grip of the law. Law enforcement agencies have been directed to immediately arrest the culprits, and all possible cooperation will be extended to the affected families.

He further added that no conspiracy to disrupt law and order in Balochistan will be allowed to succeed, and the state will ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property at all costs. It is worth noting that similar incidents have also occurred in Balochistan in the recent past.
