Heatwave Knocking in Punjab? Sun Rains Fire in Lahore

(Digital Itla) A spell of dry and intensely hot weather has begun across Punjab, including Lahore, with predictions indicating the heat will intensify further in the coming days. In the provincial capital, the sun began showing its intensity early in the morning, with temperatures recorded at 33°C during the early hours. The city's minimum temperature is expected to hover around 27°C, while the maximum temperature could hit 41°C.

Meteorologists note that temperatures are rising not just during the day but at night as well. The minimum temperature, which was recently around 26°C, could rise to 28°C, forcing citizens to endure severe heat even during the night. According to the Meteorological Department, a gradual increase in temperature is expected over the next one to two days.
