(Digital Itla) The weather across the country is shifting once again, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain with thunderstorms in various regions. According to the PMD, weather in most parts of the country is expected to remain hot and dry today; however, rain is anticipated in parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the report, rain with thunderstorms is expected in the Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, and Malakand districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, rainfall is also anticipated in different areas of Bajaur, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Mansehra, and Abbottabad. The PMD stated that while isolated places in Swat, Chitral, and Dir will experience thunderstorms, certain areas of Charsadda, Mardan, and other plains are likely to receive rain accompanied by gusty winds. Furthermore, thunderstorms are also expected at isolated locations in Haripur, Waziristan, and Kurram, which is likely to turn the local weather pleasant. On the other hand, the weather in the federal capital, Islamabad, is expected to remain hot and dry, while the intensity of heat is predicted to persist across other plain areas of the country.
