Earthquake Jolts Lahore and Adjoining Areas, Magnitude Recorded at 4.9: Seismological Center

(Digital Itla) Severe earthquake tremors measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale were felt in Lahore, Nankana Sahib, and surrounding cities.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake hit a depth of 18 kilometers, with its epicenter located in the border region of Kashmir, India. Due to the intensity of the jolts, panicked citizens rushed out of their homes reciting the Kalima Tayyaba. The district administration put hospitals and rescue agencies on high alert; however, no casualties or significant damages have been reported so far.
