"Donkey Population Further Increases in the Country", Interesting Report by Bureau of Statistics

(Digital Ittila) Islamabad: The Bureau of Statistics has reported that the growth rate of the donkey population has increased across the country. The Bureau of Statistics released the population numbers for donkeys, buffaloes, goats, sheep, camels, and other livestock.

According to the report, a significant increase has been recorded in the population of donkeys, buffaloes, goats, sheep, camels, and other livestock across the country over the past year. The documents state that the number of donkeys in Pakistan has increased by 113,000, after which their total number rose from 6.047 million to 6.16 million.

According to the data, an increase of 1.417 million was recorded in the number of buffaloes, after which the total population of buffaloes reached 49.105 million, up from 47.688 million. The report mentions that the number of sheep increased by 392,000 in the past year, growing from 33.119 million to 33.511 million. The Bureau of Statistics added that the number of goats increased by 2.422 million, with their population rising from 89.393 million to 91.815 million.

According to the documents, the number of camels in the country increased by 16,000, bringing their population from 1.177 million to 1.193 million. The report also notes that the number of horses increased by 3,000 and mules by 4,000, bringing the total count of horses to 386,000 and mules to 221,000. According to the Bureau of Statistics, the overall number of cattle/livestock across the country increased by 2.249 million over the past year, with the total livestock population growing from 59.711 million to 61.960 million.
