(Digital Ittila) Chaman: A total of 8 people were killed in two separate firing incidents during the night between Sunday and Monday in Chaman, while security agencies have started investigations amid tension in the area. According to the police, the first incident took place near Mizai Adda, where unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire. As a result of the firing, 5 people died on the spot, while the culprits managed to escape after the incident. Following the incident, the relatives of the deceased staged a protest and blocked the Quetta-Chaman highway at Massezia. The protestors demanded that the suspects involved in the incident be arrested immediately and brought to justice.
According to the police, the second incident took place in the Dolangi area of Chaman, where an armed clash occurred between two tribes. Three people were killed in the exchange of fire. Officials said that investigations into both incidents are ongoing, while additional forces have been deployed to maintain law and order in the area. It is worth noting that last year, 7 people lost their lives as a result of an armed clash between two groups in Chaman.
