(Digital Ittila) Islamabad: The federal capital administration has issued a new notification regarding business hours under energy-saving measures after Eid-ul-Adha, according to which the working hours of markets and shopping malls have been restricted again from June 1. According to the details, in view of the global energy crisis and rising fuel prices, the government is continuing to implement the energy conservation policy. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, business centers were temporarily allowed to remain open late, but now the previous restrictions have been reimposed.
According to the notification, all markets and shopping malls in Islamabad will be closed at 8:00 PM from today. According to the administration, restaurants, food outlets, tandoors, grocery stores, vegetable & fruit vendors, and bakeries will be allowed to remain open until 10:00 PM, while marriage halls, marquees, and private events must also conclude by 10:00 PM.
The notification stated that no time restrictions will apply to takeaway and home delivery services. Similarly, pharmacies, hospitals, medical laboratories, and medical stores will also be exempted from these restrictions. According to the administration, petrol pumps, CNG stations, milk and dairy shops can continue to operate normally, while IT companies, call centers, gyms, padel courts, and other sports facilities will also be exempt from the restriction of the new working hours.
