Rain Forecast for Various Regions of the Country, Weather Expected to Change

Islamabad (Digital Itla): The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds and thunder in various parts of the country during the next 24 hours. According to the Met Office, light rain is expected in most plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while rain is also predicted in upper districts including Peshawar, Swat, Chitral, and Dir, which is expected to make the weather pleasant. According to the report, hailstorms are also possible in some upper regions, while hot and dry weather is predicted for Southern Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. The chances of rain are higher in Kashmir and Northeastern Punjab, while thundershowers with gusty winds are also expected at a few places in the Pothohar region. The Met Department states that overcast weather with light to moderate rain could be recorded in certain areas, leading to a drop in temperature and a noticeable decrease in the intensity of the heat. The institution has also issued directives to the relevant authorities to monitor the weather situation and advised citizens to take precautionary measures.
