(Digital Itlaah) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced four public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
According to the notification issued, holidays will be observed across the province from May 26 to May 29.
Earlier, the federal government had announced three Eid-ul-Adha holidays, under which government offices would remain closed on May 26, 27, and 28.
According to the notification issued by the Federal Cabinet Division, official Eid holidays across the country will be observed from Tuesday to Thursday. However, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has added an extra day, extending the holidays until Friday.
Similarly, the Sindh government has also announced four public holidays for Eid-ul-Adha, according to which government offices in the province will remain closed from May 26 to May 29.
Meanwhile, the State Bank of Pakistan has also announced three banking holidays on the occasion of Eid. According to the statement, all banks will remain closed from May 26 to 28, while financial activities will resume as usual from Friday, May 29.
Official information states that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated across the country on May 27, while Yaum-e-Arafah will be observed on May 26.
