Pakistan Railways Decides to Run Three Special Trains for Eid-ul-Adha

21 May 2026

(Digital Itla) Pakistan Railways has decided to operate special trains for passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha in order to reduce travel congestion and facilitate the public during the holiday season.

According to sources, three special Eid trains will be operated this year, with each train consisting of 7 to 8 coaches. These trains will connect various major cities across the country.

As per the schedule, the first Eid special train will depart from Quetta to Karachi on May 23.

The second train will leave Karachi for Rawalpindi on May 24, passing through Multan, Faisalabad, and Sargodha.

The third and final Eid special train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on May 25.

The initiative aims to reduce passenger pressure during Eid and make travel easier for the public.

It is worth noting that Peshawar has not been included in the routes for Eid special trains this year, meaning there will be no direct Eid train service to or from the city.
