Government Announces Three-Day Public Holidays for Eid-ul-Adha from May 26 to 28

(Digital Itla) The government has announced public holidays across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, providing citizens with three consecutive days off.

Following approval from the Prime Minister, the Cabinet Division issued an official notification declaring May 26, 27, and 28 as public holidays for Eid-ul-Adha. The holidays will fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

According to the notification, the holidays will apply to all government institutions nationwide. Offices, educational institutions, and most official activities will remain closed during these days.

The purpose of the holidays is to allow people to celebrate the religious festival of Eid-ul-Adha more comfortably and provide sufficient time for travel and family activities.
