First time in Faisalabad’s history, five alleged police encounters took place in a single night; two robbers were killed while six others were arrested in an injured condition.

(Digital Report) Under the leadership of City Police Officer Faisalabad, Tanveer Hussain, the police have vowed to eliminate crime from the city, in an alleged encounter with Samanabad Police, a robber identified as Faisal Mehmood was killed. The deceased suspect had a criminal record involving multiple robbery cases and previous police encounters.

In another alleged encounter with the Ghulam Muhammad Abad Police, a robber named Waqas was killed. He was a member of an inter-district gang and had a record in 20 criminal cases.

During an alleged encounter with Civil Lines Police, two robbers, Waseem and Akhtar, were arrested in an injured condition. Both suspects were reportedly involved in 23 criminal cases.

In a separate alleged encounter with the Sadar Police, two robbers, Hamid and Sabir, were arrested while injured. According to police, they were fleeing after a robbery when they encountered the police.

Similarly, in an alleged encounter with Batala Colony Police, two robbers, Abu Bakar and Amir Sultan, were arrested in an injured condition. Police stated that both suspects were attempting to escape after committing a robbery when they came face to face with law enforcement.

Police shifted all six injured suspects to the hospital for medical treatment.
