(Digital Itla) US military strikes have destroyed the control tower at the Chabahar Port, located on Iran's Makran coast.
According to an Iranian official statement, the US fired 3 missiles to completely destroy a civilian infrastructure. The statement labeled the strikes as an atrocious assault on the livelihoods of local fishermen and the safety of civilian maritime navigation.
The declaration added that US attacks on critical infrastructure expose Western double standards, accusing Washington of committing a grave violation of self-established international treaties.
As airstrikes continue for a sixth day, large swathes of southern Iran have been left without power. According to the Iranian Ministry of Energy, the attacks targeted a telecommunications tower in Bandar Abbas, severely damaging power lines. The Ministry stated that restoration efforts are underway in Bandar Abbas and adjacent affected areas. Officials have urged citizens to avoid unnecessary electricity consumption, stay away from targeted sites, and use alternative transit routes
