Safe City cameras initiate AI-enabled e-ticketing for one-way traffic violations

Faisalabad 13 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA): To enforce rigorous traffic compliance and mitigate road hazards, Faisalabad Traffic Police in coordination with the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has activated surveillance-backed e-challans at the Samanabad College Road railway crossing.

According to details, commuters heading towards Jhang Road frequently committed one-way violations near the Samanabad crossing, bypassing designated u-turns and endangering public safety. Addressing the recurrent non-compliance, high-definition Safe City cameras installed at the site have commenced automated tracking and penalty issuance.

Multiple violators making illegal turns are receiving digital fines directly delivered to their registered mobile contacts.

Faisalabad Traffic Police strongly advises all motorists and motorcyclists to strictly observe traffic regulations, avoid one-way infringements, and wear safety helmets to ensure smooth traffic flow and avert heavy financial penalties.
