NCCIA Faisalabad arrests suspect in child exploitation and objectionable content case

Faisalabad 7 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA) In a targeted operation, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Faisalabad has arrested a suspect allegedly involved in child pornography and possession of illicit material. The action was initiated following intelligence received through a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

During the raid, authorities recovered a mobile phone from the possession of the accused. Technical analysis linked the device to a disputed Gmail ID and a TikTok account. According to investigators, the suspect also reportedly confessed to his involvement in creating objectionable content involving a minor.

An FIR has been registered against the accused under Section 22 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016, and further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
