GCUF Syndicate approves key academic, financial, and administrative decisions in 78th meeting chaired by VC Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam

Faisalabad 13 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA): The 78th meeting of the Syndicate of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) was convened under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam at the Committee Room of the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat, New Campus. The high-level body deliberated extensively on core university governance affairs.

During the session, the Syndicate accorded formal approval to several critical academic, financial, and administrative proposals. The forum reviewed the implementation status of directives issued in prior meetings, endorsed key recommendations made by the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB), and ratified decisions submitted by the Affiliation Committee.

Furthermore, the Syndicate addressed administrative matters concerning varsity staff, including cases involving unauthorized absence from duty, and issued binding directives for compliance. Concluding the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam expressed gratitude to Syndicate members for their constructive contributions, with special appreciation extended to outgoing members completing their institutional terms.
