Faisalabad FDA Complex Illuminated to Celebrate Pakistan-Saudi-Turkey Defence Pact

FAISALABAD, Aug. 10: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) complex has been illuminated in the colours of the national flags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to mark the historic defence agreement between the three countries.

The colourful lighting at the FDA complex was described as a symbolic expression of public support for the strengthening defence, diplomatic and fraternal ties among the three Muslim-majority nations.

FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said the illumination was intended to celebrate the agreement and highlight the longstanding bonds of friendship, trust and brotherhood among the people of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

He said growing defence cooperation among the three countries reflected mutual trust and longstanding relations and could help strengthen efforts to protect shared interests and promote regional peace, stability and collective security.

Chaudhry praised Pakistan's political and defence leadership for what he described as sincere efforts, active diplomatic engagement and initiatives aimed at strengthening relations with the country's close allies.

He called the Pakistan-Saudi-Turkey defence agreement an important and welcome development that would further strengthen the three countries' long-term and multifaceted relations.

"Relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have traditionally been based on brotherly ties, mutual respect and trust, while Pakistan and Turkey also share deep historical, cultural, diplomatic and defence links," Chaudhry said.

He said expanding practical cooperation among the three countries could create new opportunities for regional peace, stability and development.

Chaudhry added that the bonds of friendship and brotherhood among the peoples of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey had strengthened over generations. He said the latest increase in defence cooperation reflected those longstanding ties and could give bilateral and trilateral cooperation a new direction.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to play a positive and constructive role in strengthening friendly relations with Saudi Arabia and Turkey based on mutual respect and shared interests.

He expressed hope that closer cooperation among the three countries would not only deepen their bilateral and trilateral relations but also contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in the wider region.
