Faisalabad Division: Livestock Department's Awareness Campaign for Farmers Continues

FAISALABAD, Sept 29, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Under the supervision of Director Livestock Dr. Haider Ali Khan, a special awareness campaign is ongoing for livestock farmers across the districts of Faisalabad Division, including Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh. The primary objective of this campaign is to introduce farmers and landowners to animal health, disease prevention, vaccination, balanced nutrition, breeding, and modern livestock farming methods.

To ensure the timely dissemination of useful information to livestock owners, the Livestock Department is effectively utilizing the following media channels and measures:

• Organization of Kisan Livestock Baithak programs and school focus programs.

• Practical training through field days, farmer days, and mobile training school bus programs.

• Broadcast of radio talks through FM Radio Pakistan.

• Press releases for newspapers and informative posts and awareness videos on the Livestock Department's social media accounts.

The Director of Livestock has reiterated the commitment that livestock farmers will continue to be provided with timely guidance through all possible communication channels for animal welfare and better care, enabling them to improve the health and productivity of their animals.
