FAISALABAD, August 11, 2026: In line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, the beautification and modernization work at the 66-Foot Road Bazaar in Mansoorabad has been completed.
Faisalabad Commissioner Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nauman Siddique, visited the bazaar and inspected the completed beautification work. He also interacted with local residents and listened to their concerns and demands.
Commissioner Directs Officials to Address Public Demands
During the visit, the commissioner directed the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation to address several demands raised by residents. He assured the people that their genuine concerns would be resolved promptly.
Local residents appreciated the commissioner’s efforts and thanked him for taking notice of their demands.
Beautification Work Underway at Aminpur and Jhang Bazaars
The commissioner also visited Aminpur Bazaar and Jhang Bazaar to review ongoing beautification, renovation and repair work.
He directed the concerned officials to complete all development and beautification projects within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring quality standards.
More Faisalabad Bazaars to Be Upgraded
Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh said that after Katchery Bazaar, beautification and rehabilitation work is now being carried out at Aminpur Bazaar and Jhang Bazaar.
He said the administration would gradually transform the remaining major bazaars of Faisalabad into attractive and modern commercial areas.
The commissioner added that improving the appearance of the city’s markets and providing citizens with a cleaner, better and more convenient environment remain among the administration’s priorities.
