(Digital Itla) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed hope that the next round of negotiations between Iran and the United States will soon be hosted by Pakistan.
In a statement shared on social media, the prime minister said Pakistan would continue its efforts for peace in the region and expected future Iran-US negotiations to take place in Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif praised the peace efforts of US President Donald Trump, saying he had contacted leaders of Islamic countries to promote regional stability.
He further stated that Field Marshal Asim Munir effectively represented Pakistan during discussions with Donald Trump, and his efforts were commendable.
Trump recently stated that most issues with Iran had been resolved and that an agreement could be announced soon.
