War Against Terrorism Will Continue With Full National Strength Until Terrorism Is Eliminated: Field Marshal

(Digital Itla) According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a ceremony for the distribution of military awards was held at GHQ Rawalpindi by the Pakistan Army, where Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir presented honors to the families of martyrs, officers, and soldiers.

On this occasion, 50 Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) awards and 12 Tamgha-e-Basalat medals were conferred. Posthumous awards were handed over to the families of the martyrs in recognition of their sacrifices before the nation.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that the martyrs and war heroes are the nation’s everlasting pride, and the country’s peace is the result of their immense sacrifices. He praised the resilience and sacrifices of the families of the martyrs and said that the war against terrorism will continue with full national strength until terrorism is completely eradicated.

He further added that security forces and law enforcement agencies remain actively engaged at all times to ensure lasting peace and stability in the country.
