Faisalabad Police claimed to have killed both suspects involved in the rape and murder of 8-year-old Ali Ahmed during an alleged police encounter. SHO Sadar Samundri Adnan conducted a raid in Chak 447 GB to arrest the accused. During the raid, 5 to 6 armed suspects opened indiscriminate fire on the police party.

Upon receiving the information, SP Iqbal Division Saeed Ahmed, DSP Samundri, DSP Tandlianwala, and SHO City Samundri, along with heavy police contingents, reached the scene. After the firing stopped, two suspects were found lying injured at the spot.

According to police, the two accused were killed by the firing of their own accomplices during the encounter. The deceased suspects were identified as Nauman and Shahid.

Police said the suspects had raped and murdered 8-year-old Ali Ahmed three days earlier. In an attempt to hide evidence, the suspects also mutilated the child’s body with a sharp-edged weapon. Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
