(Digital Itla) A freight train met with an accident near Lodhran, resulting in the train splitting into two parts. According to railway sources, the down-track was blocked following the accident, forcing authorities to halt three Karachi-bound trains at various stations.
The Millat Express has been stranded at Jahanian for 3 hours, the Karakoram Express at Qutabpur station for 4 hours, and the Allama Iqbal Express has been waiting at the Dunyapur station for 5 hours. Relevant authorities have stated that relief and rescue work is underway to restore the down-track.
