FAISALABAD: Two women and a nine-year-old girl were killed in a firing incident in the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station in Faisalabad. Police registered a case against 11 named and three unidentified suspects.
According to police, the suspects allegedly opened fire on members of a nomadic family on suspicion that they had provided information to others. The firing resulted in the deaths of Zubaida Bibi, her daughter Asma Bibi and nine-year-old Miskkan at the scene.
A case was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Amir, son of the deceased Zubaida Bibi.
Police said they have launched action against the suspects and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
