(Digital Itla) A terrorist attack on a passenger bus traveling from Quetta to Karachi resulted in the martyrdom of 3 passengers and left 3 others injured.
According to details, terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan attacked the passenger bus in the Khad Koocha area of Mastung district, Balochistan.
Police reported that the deceased were identified as Inam-ul-Haq, Syed Tariq Niaz, and Liaquat Khan, while the injured include Najam Saqib, Abdul Hanan, and Abdul Wali, who were immediately shifted to the hospital.
Police stated the incident occurred in Khad Koocha, Mastung. Following the attack, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area to collect evidence and initiate a search operation for the attackers. Further investigation is underway.
Earlier, armed individuals targeted passenger buses on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in the Kalat and Surab districts of Balochistan. In two separate firing incidents, 4 people were killed and 4 others, including a woman, were severely injured.
Police officials stated that the major firing incident occurred near the "Garo" area in Mangochar tehsil of Kalat district, where armed assailants in an ambush opened fire indiscriminately on a Karachi-bound coach from Quetta.
The armed attackers managed to flee the scene easily. The bodies of the four deceased were later shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Quetta for identification.
At Surab, another passenger coach traveling from Quetta to Turbat was targeted. A female passenger was severely injured in the attack and was immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical aid.
Security sources confirmed that security has been put on high alert along the National Highway following both incidents, with police and law enforcement agencies initiating search operations in the regions to arrest the perpetrators.
