Suthra Punjab Agency Holds Special Ceremony to Mark National Minorities Day

FAISALABAD, August 11, 2026: The Suthra Punjab Agency Faisalabad organized a special ceremony to mark National Minorities Day, attended by Managing Director Abid Hussain Bhatti, Christian workers and representatives of other minority communities.

Cake-Cutting Ceremony Held

During the ceremony, Managing Director Abid Hussain Bhatti cut a cake alongside Christian sanitation workers and representatives of minority communities to commemorate the occasion.

Special prayers were also offered for Pakistan’s security, stability, development, prosperity and the promotion of interfaith harmony.

Minority Communities Praised for Their Contributions

Speaking on the occasion, Abid Hussain Bhatti said the contribution of minority communities to Pakistan’s development and progress was highly commendable.

He said Christian and other minority communities were not only serving the country in various fields but were also playing an important role in maintaining cleanliness.

Christian Workers Appreciated

The MD said Christian workers were an integral part of the Suthra Punjab Agency and were performing their duties alongside other sanitation workers to keep Faisalabad clean.

He praised their hard work and services, saying the agency valued their contributions and recognized their important role.

Equal Opportunities and Respect Assured

Bhatti said it was essential to take all segments of society and minority communities along in the country’s journey toward development and prosperity.

He assured members of the minority community that they would continue to receive equal opportunities and respect within the Suthra Punjab Agency.

Prayers for Pakistan’s Prosperity

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for Pakistan’s security, stability, development and prosperity.

Participants also expressed their commitment to promoting national unity, brotherhood and interfaith harmony.
