FAISALABAD: 5 Oct (Digital Itla) — Police have arrested a suspect for violating the Sound Systems Act by playing loud music and causing a public nuisance during a pre-wedding Mehendi ceremony. According to police, the suspect, Rizwan, was playing high-volume music on the road, creating severe noise pollution and disturbance.
The Station House Officer (SHO) of the respective police station took prompt action, arresting the suspect and initiating formal legal proceedings under the law. The City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad stated that violations of public order and laws causing distress to citizens will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
