(Digital Itla) The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for August 2026.
According to the notification issued by OGRA, the price of LPG has been raised by Rs 12.89 per kilogram, fixing the new price at Rs 254.32 per kg.
The notification states that the price of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has also been increased, bringing the new price of a domestic cylinder to Rs 3,000.92.
According to OGRA, the new LPG prices will apply for the month of August.
Following the rise in LPG prices, domestic consumers are likely to face an added financial burden, while users in rickshaw, hotel, and other commercial sectors will also be impacted.
LPG serves as a primary cooking fuel in many regions across the country, especially in areas where natural gas supply is unavailable.
Price adjustments by OGRA are made considering international LPG market rates and other factors.
