RPO Faisalabad Inam-ur-Rahman Malik meets Peace Committee delegation: Focus on interfaith harmony, security strategy, and curbing hate speech

Faisalabad 12 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Inam-ur-Rahman Malik chaired a high-level consultative meeting with a delegation from the Peace Committee to review the regional security apparatus and strengthen interfaith harmony. City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain alongside senior police officers were also present during the session.

The meeting focused on establishing robust communication channels for sensitive situations and developing a unified strategy to maintain law and order across the region. RPO Inam-ur-Rahman Malik emphasized that the cooperation of scholars across all religious schools of thought is essential to fostering communal harmony and tolerance, adding that maintaining peace remains the top priority of the police force.

The RPO directed strict compliance regarding loudspeaker regulations and warned against the dissemination of provocative or hate material via social media. He urged ulema to utilize the pulpit to promote messages of peace, brotherhood, and restraint. Issuing a stern warning, RPO Malik asserted that elements inciting sectarian tension will be dealt with an iron fist and full adherence to the law will be strictly enforced across the division.
