RPO Faisalabad Inam-ur-Rahman Malik conducts surprise inspection of PS City Toba Tek Singh: SHO suspended over illegal detention of citizen

 Faisalabad 13 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Inam-ur-Rahman Malik paid an unannounced supervisory visit to Police Station City Toba Tek Singh during his official tour of Toba Tek Singh district. During the visit, RPO Inam-ur-Rahman Malik thoroughly inspected operational desks, including the Front Desk, Record Room, Moharrir Office, and Malkhana, alongside reviewing overall cleanliness and station maintenance.

Taking severe notice of an illegally detained citizen found inside the station premises during inspection, RPO Inam-ur-Rahman Malik immediately suspended SHO Police Station City Toba Tek Singh, Sub-Inspector Hakim Ali, for gross misuse of authority and unlawful confinement. On the direct orders of the RPO, the detained citizen was safely released and reunited with his family.

Issuing stern policy instructions, RPO Inam-ur-Rahman Malik asserted that no individual is above the law, and abuse of police powers or illegal detention will face zero tolerance. He directed police personnel to ensure impartial justice and public facilitation, warning that dereliction of duty will lead to harsh disciplinary action. He further instructed that citizens visiting police stations must be treated with utmost dignity and respect.
