Punjab Local Government Secretary and Deputy Commissioner Visit Chak Jhumra and Tandlianwala to Review Development Schemes

Faisalabad 1 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA) Secretary Local Government Punjab, Zain Bin Maqsood, and Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, Muhammad Noman Sadiq, visited the tehsils of Chak Jhumra and Tandlianwala to review the implementation, construction progress, and overall status of various development schemes under the Punjab Development Program. During the visit, concerned officers provided a detailed briefing to the Punjab Local Government Secretary and the Deputy Commissioner regarding ongoing development projects, their current progress, completion stages, and other related matters in both tehsils.

Secretary Local Government Punjab, Zain Bin Maqsood, directed that the pace of work on all development schemes under the Punjab Development Program be further accelerated to ensure that public welfare projects are completed transparently within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized that no compromise will be made on the quality of development projects and urged continuous monitoring of construction activities. He added that the primary priority of the Punjab Government is to provide basic amenities to the public and extend the benefits of development projects to ordinary citizens in both urban and rural areas. To achieve this, all relevant departments must perform their duties through mutual coordination and effective strategy.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Noman Sadiq stated that schemes underway in Faisalabad district under the Punjab Development Program are being monitored regularly. Necessary directives have been issued to relevant departments to ensure timely completion, construction quality, and transparency in development projects. He noted that the district administration maintains strict oversight over the progress of public welfare initiatives and is utilizing all available resources to remove any hurdles in the development schemes. The Secretary Local Government Punjab instructed officers to avoid any delays in project completion and to ensure the realization of set targets so that citizens can reap the benefits of these projects as soon as possible.
