Police arrest key suspect in acid attack case; Tandlianwala Police take suspect Tahir Mehmood into custody

Faisalabad 12 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): Executing swift police action on the directives of CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain, Faisalabad Police successfully arrested a suspect involved in a heinous acid attack that severely injured a citizen.

According to details, SHO Police Station City Tandlianwala Ahmad Muneel led the operational police team in apprehending the suspect, identified as Tahir Mehmood. Preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect threw acid at victim Amin due to personal enmity, leaving him with severe burn injuries.

Formal prosecution proceedings have been launched against the suspect. Reaffirming zero tolerance against brutal crimes, CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain asserted that perpetrators of violence will face iron-handed justice, assuring that thorough forensic investigation and evidence gathering will be pursued to ensure maximum punishment from the court.
