FAISALABAD, Aug. 28, 2026 — Faisalabad Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh has approved a new exit route from D-Ground Market to help ease traffic congestion at Radio Pakistan Chowk, officials said on Friday.The new route is expected to provide an alternative outlet for traffic leaving D-Ground Market and reduce pressure on the busy intersection.

Radio Pakistan Chowk to be widened

Under the plan, Radio Pakistan Chowk will also be widened to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area. Commissioner Sheikh said providing citizens with safe, convenient and quality travel facilities was a priority for the administration. He said all possible measures were being taken to improve traffic management and provide better transportation facilities to residents of Faisalabad.
