(Digital Itla) PML-N President Nawaz Sharif stated: "Bilawal, please don't mind my words; political parties should have healthy debates—that is a good thing. But this is Kashmir, not Kashmore; this is Mirpur, not Mirpur Khas."
Addressing an election rally in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, Nawaz Sharif said that Kashmir is as dear to him as Lahore. "Kashmir is not my second home, but my first. We have come with a vow to change the destiny of Mirpur and Azad Kashmir." He added that no development occurred in Kashmir after he left the Prime Minister's office, asking previous governments in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan what they accomplished.
He further expressed: "Nawaz Sharif is a necessity for Kashmir. I will walk side-by-side with the PML-N Prime Minister in Azad Kashmir, personally overseeing the fulfillment of our manifesto." He promised cheap fertilizers and seeds for farmers, laptops for children via Maryam Nawaz, free medicines for the needy, an international airport in Mirpur with Shehbaz Sharif's support, household gas and water supply, student scholarships, and a motorways connecting Mansehra to Muzaffarabad and Mirpur.
