FAISALABAD, Pakistan, Sept 24 (Digital Itla)— The Faisalabad Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has ordered a fresh plan for desilting sewer lines and main drainage channels following the end of the monsoon season, the agency said on Thursday.
WASA Managing Director Saqib Raza directed officials to ensure that all small and large sewer lines and main channels are desilted according to the revised plan.
Raza said improving drainage services for residents was a priority and instructed officials to use all available machinery and resources to complete the work.
He also directed the relevant departments to begin desilting on a priority basis and ensure effective implementation of the revised plan, according to the agency.
