FAISALABAD 4 Oct (Digital Itla)— Police have arrested a man for staging a fake kidnapping drama involving his own son and making a bogus emergency call. According to police, the suspect, Shahid, made an emergency call claiming that unknown culprits had tortured and abducted his son, Huzaifa.
Police from the Batala Colony station promptly responded to the scene and verified the facts. Upon reviewing CCTV footage, it was revealed that no such abduction had occurred, and the suspect had fabricated the entire incident by making a false emergency call. Batala Colony police have arrested the suspect and registered a formal case against him. Issuing a stern warning, the City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad stated that individuals who mislead emergency services and make bogus calls will face strict legal action without any leniency.
