Lahore High Court orders inquiry into seizure of cash and vehicles from British citizen in custody

Faisalabad 7 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): The Lahore High Court has taken strict notice of allegations regarding the forcible seizure of cash, valuables, and vehicles from a British citizen while in custody, ordering an official inquiry against high-ranking federal and local officials.

The court directed proceedings against FIA Director Faisalabad Saqib Sultan and Inspector Ajmal Hussain. The judicial order was issued by Justice Jawad Zafar while hearing a petition filed by Akmal Hussain, emphasizing the need for an impartial and thorough investigation into the alleged abuse of authority.
