(Digital Itla) Iran has expressed its readiness to resume talks with Pakistan. According to a report by Saudi media outlet Al Arabiya citing Iranian sources, the negotiations could take place in Geneva, Doha, or Islamabad. Iran sent a message to continue talks under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, clarifying to Pakistani authorities that it did not withdraw from the talks but merely suspended them. Iran also informed Pakistan that establishing a new passage in the Strait of Hormuz is unacceptable. Furthermore, Iran stated that negotiations should resume from where they left off, requesting that discussions on the Strait of Hormuz be prioritized before addressing frozen assets and the nuclear issue.
